Sanders Brothers, Ione |
| The Sanders Brothers are famous for their aircraft restorations, especially of Hawker Sea Furies, and own and operate the famous Dreadnought, plus several other planes.
We toured their hangars on the private Eagle's Nest Airfield at Ione (pronounced 'eye-own'), and had a great visit, getting up close and personal to the planes (and the impressive collection of cars). We had seen a couple of the aircraft a few days earlier at Chino Airport and during the airshow. Our visit was on 8th May. |
